Acharya has spearheaded a qualitative improvement project that focuses on addressing the social issues of health. This initiative promotes open dialogue on social issues within vulnerable communities, fostering a practice of holistic care. He firmly believes that creating a safe environment and encouraging community members to express their emotions establishes a network of emotional support.

Additionally, he has worked as a medical interpreter, proficiently conveying concepts and facts while considering verbal, nonverbal, and cultural aspects of communication. He has also advocated for patients facing communication barriers beyond language, encompassing physical and psychological conditions, as well as power dynamics that make patients anxious when communicating with clinicians. Acharya has gathered information regarding patients' social, emotional, and medical needs. He has collaborated with clients to identify support networks and assisted patients in prioritizing goals and voicing concerns.

During his spare time, Acharya enjoys spending quality time with his family. He finds joy in photography, reading, listening to music, hiking, playing soccer, writing poetry, and engaging in public speaking.
